It's particularly suited to leaders operating in transformation, public sector, or high-stakes environments, and can include a specific focus on building strategic digital confidence where relevant.

Why I created the Strategic Leadership Partnership model

One of the biggest myths in leadership is that you're supposed to be able to do it all on your own.

As accountability grows, leaders are often given less space and support - yet the more responsibility you carry, the more valuable a trusted, independent thinking partner becomes - especially when focus is fragmented by competing demands.

This partnership creates that space. Not as purely coaching, not as consultancy, not as performance management - but as a grounded, high-trust partnership where you can:

  • Make sense of what's really going on, to help you make sound, confident decisions.
  • Test your thinking without judgement, to break out of unhelpful cycles and to enable more clarity under pressure.

A note on digital leadership

In digital or transformation contexts, this partnership often includes building strategic digital confidence. For me, digital leadership isn't about being a technologist per se - it's about setting clear strategic direction, asking the right questions of experts, making sound decisions at pace, and keeping people at the centre. I bring this perspective from leading high-stakes, national digital transformations. Now, as a strategic partner, I help leaders make sense of what's really happening in complex digital work, test their thinking, and stay focused on what truly matters - without feeling exposed, isolated, or alone.

How would we work together?

The partnership is shaped around your context and priorities, but typically flows across three interconnected areas: leadership, strategy and delivery.

We tailor the partnership based on your needs, but to give you an idea of a typical structure - we would engage on a 6- or 12-month basis and would include: 1x 90-minute session per month, adhoc strategic thinking support between sessions (email, call, WhatsApp), and attendance at key forums/meetings if required.
